Canapii announced enhancements to its event registration system featuring three key list management features.
Approved and Block lists
The platform replaced traditional "whitelist" and "blacklist" terminology with "approved list" and "block list." These lists now apply organization-wide across all event registrations. Once an email is added to either list, it affects every ticket throughout the entire event. Ticket-level specifications override these global settings.

Scrutiny list feature
A new scrutiny list provides additional oversight capabilities. Users on this list can register but trigger notifications to selected administrators. The feature supports both domain-wide and specific email addresses for comprehensive monitoring.
Key characteristics:
Admins receive alerts when scrutiny list users register
Notifications include direct links to attendee profiles in the admin console
Flagged attendees display an alert/exclamation icon for easy identification
Admins can delete or approve users directly from the scrutiny list

Account restrictions
Initially, scrutiny list accounts are enabled but with restricted interactions — no messaging or meeting bookings are allowed until full approval is granted by administrators.
The updates aim to enhance registration management security and user experience for both administrators and attendees.
